Manners for Young Men: The Bachelor Life (for young men ages 14-18) Choose one or both sessions. Session I: Tuesday, November 11. Session II. Tuesday, November 18. 7-9pm
Tired of putting your foot in your mouth? Want to put your best foot forward? While the prospect of learning etiquette may seem daunting, by learning a few social tricks, you can become the man who is remembered for all the right reasons. In Session I of this program, you'll learn the keys to introducing yourself and introducing others, conversation do's and don'ts, common courtesies (such as; opening doors, taking off your hats, giving up your seat, when to sit and stand), appropriate clothes to wear, grooming for success and the secrets to smooth table manners. In Session II, you will learn about tipping for all occasions, sewing on a missing button, ironing a shirt, tying a tie, maintaining your clothes (including the fundamentals of laundry) and the basics of money management.
You've reached the age when parents are no longer expected to do everything for you. Soon, you'll be going away to college and living on your own. These are the "survival skills" that will help you meet and exceed in this real-life adventure.
